Välislepingu ratifitseerimise seadus

Välisministeeriumi teadaanne välislepingu jõustumise kohta

 

Eesti Vabariigi valitsus, Soome Vabariigi valitsus ja Rootsi Kuningriigi valitsus, edaspidi kokkuleppeosalised,

soovides kindlaks määrata punkti Läänemeres, kus kohtuvad kolme riigi merealapiirid,

võttes arvesse kokkuleppeosaliste vahel sõlmitud kokkuleppeid, mis käsitlevad mandrilava piiritlemist ning kalandus- ja majandusvööndeid Läänemeres,

on kokku leppinud järgmises.

Artikkel 1

Allpool nimetatud punktidest,
punktist, geograafiliste koordinaatidega 58^o50,677 ' põhjalaiust ja 20^o28,902 ' idapikkust, mis on kindlaks määratud Eesti Vabariigi ja Soome Vabariigi vahel 18.10.1996 sõlmitud lepinguga merealapiirist Soome lahel ja Läänemere põhjaosas,
punktist 5, geograafiliste koordinaatidega 58^o51,776 ' põhjalaiust ja 20^o28,276 ' idapikkust, mis on kindlaks määratud Soome Vabariigi ja Rootsi Kuningriigi vahel 2.06.1994 sõlmitud Ahvenamaa meres ja Läänemere põhjaosas asuvate Soome kalandusvööndi ja Rootsi majandusvööndi lepinguga, ja
punktist D, geograafiliste koordinaatidega 58^o46, 812 ' põhjalaiust ja 20^o28,448 ' idapikkust, mis on kindlaks määratud Eesti Vabariigi ja Rootsi Kuningriigi vahel 2.11.1998 sõlmitud kokkuleppega merealapiirist Läänemeres,
tõmmatakse delimiteerimisjooned sirgjoontena (geodeetiliste joontena) kokkupuutepunktini, millel on järgmised geograafilised koordinaadid:

58o50,670 ' põhjalaiust

20o28,888 ' idapikkust

Kokkuleppe geograafilised koordinaadid on määratletud World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 84) kohaselt.

Artikkel 2

Kokkulepe jõustub kolmekümnendal päeval pärast seda, kui kokkuleppeosalised on üksteist diplomaatiliste kanalite kaudu teavitanud kokkuleppe jõustumiseks vajalike siseriiklike toimingute lõpetamisest.

Koostatud 16. jaanuaril 2001 Tallinnas kolmes originaaleksemplaris inglise keeles.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ESTONIA, THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF FINLAND
AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF SWEDEN
ON THE COMMON MARITIME BOUNDARY POINT IN THE BALTIC SEA

The Government of the Republic of Estonia, the Government of the Republic of Finland and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden, hereinafter referred to as the Parties,

desiring to determine the point where the maritime boundaries of the three States in the Baltic Sea coincide;

taking into account agreements concluded between the Parties on the delimitation of the continental shelf and of the fishery and exclusive economic zones in the Baltic Sea;

have agreed as follows:

Article 1

From the points indicated below,
the point with the geographical coordinates 58^o50,677 ' N and 20^o28,902 ' E, established in the Agreement of 18 October 1996 between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Finland on the boundary of the maritime zones in the Gulf of Finland and in the northern part of the Baltic Sea,
point 5 with the geographical coordinates 58^o51,776 ' N and 20^o28,276 ' E, established in the Agreement of 2 June 1994 between the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Sweden on the delimitation in the Åland Sea and in the northern Baltic Sea of the continental shelf and fishery zone of Finland and the exclusive economic zone of Sweden, and
point D with the geographical coordinates 58^o46,812 ' N and 20^o28,448 ' E, established in the Agreement of 2 November 1998 between the Republic of Estonia and the Kingdom of Sweden on the delimitation of the maritime zones in the Baltic Sea,
the lines of delimitation shall be drawn as straight (geodetic) lines to a common point with the following geographical coordinates

58o50,670 ' N

20o28,888 ' E

The geographical coordinates in this Agreement are determined in accordance with the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 84).

Article 2

This Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the Parties have notified each other through diplomatic channels that the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement have been completed.

Done at Tallinn on 16. January 2001 in three original copies in the English language.
