This regulation is established pursuant to § 28³ (8) of Deliberate Release into the Environment of Genetically Modified Organisms Act.

§ 1.  Submission of an application to enter GMO locations and handlers into a database

  A person wishing to start GMO handling shall submit to the Ministry of Agriculture a standard format (established in Annex) application to enter GMO locations and handlers into a database.

§ 2.  Document to be added to the application

  A person shall add to the application a copy of the certificate proving that the person responsible for GMO handling and a worker of the holding have passed a training in GMO handling.

§ 3.  Rules of application proceeding

  The Agricultural Board shall decide upon entering GMO locations and handlers into a database within five days from the receipt of the application.

§ 4.  Submission of data to continue GMO cultivation

  Each year no later than one month before starting GMO cultivation a person shall submit to the Agricultural Board the following data either on paper (signed) or electronically (signed digitally):
 1) species, variety denomination, code, growing period;
 2) number of the reference parcel, location of the field in the reference parcel, number of the field and co-ordinates.
